Am I covered for travel outside of Canada?

Only the Deluxe Plan offers coverage for side trips. Under the Deluxe Plan, side trips of no more than 45 days are covered so long as they begin in Canada and your total stay in Canada is greater than the time spent on your side trip. No coverage is provided for side trips taken to your home country. At the time of any claim, your accumulated stay in Canada during the Period of Coverage must be more than 50% of your accumulated coverage days.
